• Adult Supervision is required. The machine is intended for children 8 and up.
Adults should always assist children at all stages of sewing and take complete
charge when necessary.
• Do not pull on fabrics as you sew. Gently guide only. Pulling could break the
needle or damage the machine.
• Always check the threading before beginning to sew a seam. Improper thread-
ing or placement of the bobbin will result in damage to the machine.
• Always disconnect or remove power supply, including batteries, when chang-
ing needles or threading machines.
• Do not sew clothing while it is on your body.
• Never leave the sewing machine unattended while plugged in. Turn switch off,
unplug the cord, and remove foot pedal when not in use.
• Do not unplug by pulling or tugging on the cord. Grasp the plug with dry hands
to remove the plug from the outlet.
• Use only the power adapter included. Any other adapter may cause injury or
damage the machine.
• Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not close door on cord or pull around sharp edges, this could cause the
cord to become punctured or damaged and could result in injury.
• Never use with a damaged power cord or plug. Inspect frequently for damage
and replace if necessary.
• Do not attempt to dismantle or rebuild the machine.
• Never open the main motor case of the machine.
• Do not submerge the unit or any other parts in water or use on wet
surfaces.
• Insert batteries with correct polarity as shown.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the machine.
• Only batteries of the same or equilvalent type as recommended are to be used.
• Do not charge non-rechargable batteries.
• Rechargable batteries are to be charged under adult supervision only.
• Remove rechargable batteries before charging.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix standard (carbon-zinc), alkaline, or rechargable batteries.
• Do not short circuit supply terminals.
• The adapter is not a toy.
• Disconnect machine from adapter before cleaning.
CAUTION-ELECTRIC TOY: Not recommended for children under 8 years of age.
As with all electric products, precautions should be observed during
