1. Place a spool of thread on the Thread Spindle.
2. Extend the Bobbin Winding Spindle that is in the middle of the Hand
Wheel by pushing it in and turning counter-clockwise. The spindle will
pop out. Now twist the spindle clockwise to lock it in place.
3. Take an empty bobbin in one hand.
4. Pull the thread from the thread spool and wind the loose end around
the bobbin a few times in a counter-clockwise direction.
5. Place the Bobbin on the Bobbin Winding Spindle.
6. Make sure the machine is on low speed and turn on the machine or
press the foot pedal. The thread will start to wind around the bobbin.
Make sure that the thread continues to wind in a counter-clockwise
direction. (This means that the thread should wind UNDER the bobbin,
not over).
7. Hold the thread lightly, guiding it gently up and down the bobbin with your
thumb and index fi nger.
8. When the bobbin is full, switch off the machine.
You can wind your own bobbins with thread
from spools you purchase separately to
have an unlimited thread color selection.
You can match the thread to the fabric or
you can contrast it for a different look!
