RolloTube I-line
Brief instructions for installation and initial commissioning
These instructions describe the simplest way to configure the RolloTube I-line motor. Please ensure that you refer to the full operating instructions for
the safety instructions, additional configuration options, connection options and information about resetting the system.
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing injuries due to rotating shaft!
There is a risk of crushing injuries to the hands when working with the roller shutter box
open. For this reason:
•
never reach into the area of the rotating union when the motor is running.
(Fig. 1)
DANGER!
Risk of fatal electric shock!
Danger due to electric shock when working on all electrical systems.
For this reason:
Only allow qualified specialists to work on the electrical systems.
•
•
Switch off the power supply prior to carrying out installation work.
•
Keep moisture away from live equipment.

Now move the motor upwards (depending on the installation, it may be necessary to press the up or down button).
The end point setting and the assignment for the direction of rotation is carried out automatically (please refer to the figure for the program se-
quence). IMPORTANT: Please do not press any other buttons during the configuration process!
The motor is now fully configured and is ready for operation.
IMPORTANT!
1.
First move the roller shutter upwards when automatically adjusting the end points.
2.
The roller shutter should remain at the upper end point following automatic adjustment.
The end points cannot be correctly adjusted if the two conditions are not met. In this case, reset the tubular motor to its factory settings and repeat the
process.
The roller shutter curtain must be equipped with a stopper or end rail in order
to undertake the subsequent automatic end point setting (Fig. 1).
In addition, the catch must be mounted so it can free-wheel. Sufficient free-
wheeling is given if the catch can be easily turned back and forth (supplied
state Fig. 2).
