Commissioning; Installation - NARDA ADFA Handhabung

NOTE: The radome of the ADFA is brightly colored, which reduces the risk of over-
heating in direct sunlight. If you keep it outside, do not change its color, do
not cover it with dark colored fabric or install it in a dark box or similar.
Transportation
The ADFA and its accessories have a magnetic field strength of less
than 0.002 Gauss at a distance of 2.1 meter from any point of the
surface. They are declared as non-regulated and can be shipped
internationally by aircraft when properly packaged.
 Prepare your parcel according to the packaging instruction and
regulations of your shipping service.

Commissioning

Commissioning of damaged equipment or accessories may cause
consequential damage.
 Inspect the ADFA and all accessories for transport damage after
unpacking.
 Do not put a damaged device into operation, but rather contact your
responsible sales partner in case of damage.
Both the ADFA and the basic unit, when stored or transported at low
temperatures, may develop condensation when placed in a warm
room. Operating the devices in this condition can damage them.
 To avoid damages, wait until no more condensation is visible on the
surface of the ADFA and the basic unit (SignalShark).

Installation

Mounting
Due to the weight of the ADFA, be aware that a fall or improper
assembly/fixation may result in personal injury or damage to the
ADFA.
 Be aware that the weight of the ADFA can easily double if ice is
deposited on it.
