I. PRIOR TO THE FIRST USE
Carefully take the appliance and its detachable parts out of the package.
Remove all wrapping materials and stickers except for the serial number identification
sticker!
After the appliance transportation or storage at low temperature keep it at room
temperature for at least two hours before plugging in.
Wipe the base of the appliance with a damp cloth, then let it dry. You may notice foreign
smell when using the appliance for the first time. This does not mean its malfunction.
You are advised to boil water in the kettle a few times before the first use to get foreign
smell out and disinfect the appliance.
II. OPERATION

Before use
Place the kettle and base on a hard, even, dry flat surface away from other objects or
surfaces which may be damaged by steam.
NOTE: the appliance is to be used only for heating and boiling water.
After connecting the kettle to the mains power supply the indicators on the base will
light up for 1 second. A short signal is emitted and the appliance switches to standby
mode (no indicator light).
