Instruction Manual
Riveting tool ESN50LAV
The compact ergonomically formed design consists
2K
of 2 components. The grip area is rubber coated
and therefore slip resistent. The housing design is
optimized in respect of the center of gravity which
improves the handling and supports fatique-proof
working.
Li-Ion batteries do neither have a memory effect nor
self discharge. Even after long periods of non ope-
ration the tool is always ready to operate. In addition
we see a lower power weight ratio with 50% more
capacity and shorter charging cycles compared to
NiMH batteries.
3.3 Description of the tool indication
See Tab. 2.
Prior to operating the unit the charging level of the batte-
ry should have been tested. A low charging level can be
detected by the fl ashing of the LED for 20 s at the end of
a riveting cycle.
3.4 Assembly of the C-frame
see pic. in front
1. Retract the piston completely (possibly press the re-
tract button.
2. Loosen the hexagon socket head cap screw at the
C-frame and loosen the head plate.
3. Unscrew the C-frame.
4. Remove the aluminium cover from the riveting head
and screw it on the other riveting head which is not
needed. The hexagon socket head cap screw must be
completely screwed in to avoid damages during sto-
rage.
Attention
Avoid debris such as dust and dirt to penetrate
the cylinder while changing the C-frames.
5. Loosen hexagon socket head cap screw and screw the
C-frame onto the base tool
