This sensor is of analog type (0-10V) and allows to know
the position of the tool holder gripper. The device for pro-
cessing of this signal is not included in the SOMEX supply
and must be planned to be able to get back the informa-
tion. The setting is made by learning. It is a question of
measuring the tension delivered by the sensor for every
position:
Ejected tool holder
Tight tool holder
Clamping without tool holder
Indicate to the system of data processing a cor-
responding range of + or - 0.2V with regard to the
measured value.

prIng washers exchange
The clamping force is given by the squeeze of spring
washers and is set in our factory.
Remove the cylinder set. (See chapter 3.1.1)

Maintain the Drawbar (1) on the flat position with a key 10.
Measure the X depth of the bronze guide in the spindle.
Unscrew the counter nut (2) and the nut (3). Take the
bronze part (4) and the washer (5) away. Remove the
washers group. Put new washers group respecting the
stacking preconisation. Reassemble the washer (5), the
bronze part (4) and the nuts (2-3). Then proceed to the
clamping effort adjustment by screwing the bronze guide
to the dimension X measured previously.

egulatIon of the ejectIon
Remove pneumatic cylinder.
Hold the spindle with a pin wrench.
