Installationsanleitung
Aufstellen des Gerätes
Der Anschluss an die Gasversorgung ist nur Fachleuten erlaubt.
Die Gasversorgungsschläuche und Rohrleitungen müssen den
vorort gültigen Anforderungen und Normen entsprechen. Stellen
Sie das Gerät so auf, dass es für Wartungsarbeiten von allen
Seiten schnell zugänglich und windgeschützt ist. Achten Sie auf
genügend Abstand (mindestens 15 cm an der Rückseite) zu
brennbaren Teilen. Ansonsten braucht das Gerät einen Min-
destabstand seitlich und an der Rückseite von mindestens
10 cm für die Belüftung der Gasturbinen im Unterbau. Das
Gerät soll auf einer ebenen, waagerechten und stabilen Fläche
aufgestellt werden. Falls nötig, kann das Gerät von unten mit der
Fläche verschraubt werden.
In geschlossenen Räumen sollte über dem Gerät eine Abgasent-
sorgungsanlage oder ein Absaugsystem installiert sein. Das Ge-
rät muss in einem ausreichend belüfteten Raum aufgestellt wer-
den, um die Bildung von unzulässigen Konzentrationen gesund-
heitsschädlicher Verbrennungsprodukte im Aufstellraum zu ver-
meiden.
Das Gerät verbraucht Sauerstoff. Eine ungenügende Frischluftzu-
fuhr beeinträchtigt die Verbrennung und kann unter Umständen
zum Erlöschen der Flammen und dem damit verbundenen auto-
matischen Schließen der Gaszufuhr führen.
Beachten Sie in diesem Zusammenhang auch, daß die Öffnun-
gen für Frischluftzufuhr und Abgasabführung am Gerät nicht ver-
stellt oder verbaut werden dürfen. Nur so gewährleisten Sie eine
einwandfreie Verbrennung und Nutzung des Gerätes. Außerdem
darf das Gerät von unten nicht geschlossen werden.
Anschluß an die Stromversorgung
Das Gerät muß an eine Stromversorgung mit 400 Volt bzw. 230
Volt Wechselstrom angeschlossen werden. Bitte entnehmen Sie
die genauen Anschlußdaten für Ihr Gerät dem Typenschild.
Der Anschluss darf nur über vorinstallierten Stecker hergestellt
werden. Bei der Benutzung eines freiliegenden Kabels ist unbe-
dingt darauf zu achten, daß es stolpersicher verlegt ist.
Es wird empfohlen, das Gerät alle zwei Jahre von einem Fach-
mann überprüfen zu lassen.

Anschluß an die Gasversorgung
Propangas
Der Anschluß an die Gasversorgung bei Propangas betriebenen
Geräten muß von einer Fachfirma vorgenommen werden. Diese
entscheidet über die Art der Zuleitung und über den Umfang der
Gasversorgungsanlage. Die anschließende Abnahme der Installa-
tion führt ein dafür autorisierter Fachmann durch.
Bei Propangasanlagen wird ein Gasregler zwischen die Gasfla-
schen und dem Gerät in die Zuleitung geschaltet, der dem Gerät
einen gleichmäßigen Betriebsdruck von 50 oder 30 mbar ver-
schafft. Den richtigen Betriebsdruck entnehmen Sie bitte dem
Typenschild!
Es ist unbedingt darauf zu achten, daß nur Gasregler mit der
Beschriftung „50 mbar" bzw. „30 mbar" verwendet werden!
Es wird empfohlen, das Gerät alle zwei Jahre von einem Fach-
mann überprüfen zu lassen.
Erdgas
Bei mit Erdgas betriebenen Geräten ist der Anschluß grundsätz-
lich nur in Übereinstimmung mit den örtlichen Gaswerken zu or-
ganisieren.
Ein zugelassener Gasinstallateur muß den Anschluß des Grillge-
rätes an das Versorgungsnetz vornehmen. Die Installation muß
danach vom zuständigen Gaswerk abgenommen werden.
Es wird empfohlen, das Gerät alle zwei Jahre von einem Fach-
mann überprüfen zu lassen.
!Regler mit verstellbarem Betriebsdruck oder Hochdruckreg-
ler dürfen auf keinem Fall verwendet werden. Sie gefährden
die Funktion und die Betriebssicherheit des Gerätes!
Propangasanlagen sind vor dem Zugriff Unbefugter durch eine
Blechverkleidung abzusichern! Wird der Standort von Gerät und
Gasversorgungsanlage gewechselt, sind nach jedem Wechsel
Gerät und Gasversorgungsdichtheit zu überprüfen. Gasflaschen
bzw. Gastanks über 14 kg Inhalt dürfen nicht im Raum oder ne-
ben dem Gerät aufgestellt werden!
Anschluß an die Abgasentsorgung
Dieser muß von einer autorisierten Lüftungsbaufirma vorgenom-
men werden.
Die Abgastemperatur 50 cm über Gerätedach beträgt ca. 170°C.

Installation Instructions
Positioning the unit
Only qualified personnel are permitted to connect the gas supply.
The gas supply hoses and piping must comply with locally applic-
able requirements and standards. Position the unit in such a way
that it is quickly and easily accessible from all sides for mainte-
nance purposes and is protected from wind. Make sure to main-
tain a sufficient distance from flammable materials (at least 15 cm
on the rear side). Otherwise, the device needs a minimum
distance to the side and at the rear of at least 10 cm for venti-
lation of the gas turbines in the substructure. The unit should
be placed on a flat, stable horizontal surface. If necessary, the
unit can be screwed onto the surface from the bottom.
An exhaust gas removal system or a ventilation hood should be
installed over the unit when operated in closed spaces. The unit
must be placed in an adequately ventilated space in order to pre-
vent the formation of forbidden concentrations of hazardous com-
bustion products in the space where the unit is located.
The unit consumes oxygen. An inadequate supply of fresh ambi-
ent air impairs combustion and can under some circumstances
result in the flames extinguishing and the associated automatic
interruption of the gas supply.
In this context you must also make sure that the openings on the
unit for the fresh air supply and exhaust gas removal are not
blocked or obstructed. This is absolutely necessary in order to
enable the intended combustion and proper use of the unit. In
addition, the unit must not be blocked from the bottom.
Connection to Electric Power Supply
The unit must be connected to an electric power supply providing
400 volts respectively 230 volts of alternating current. Please
consult the type label for the exact connection data for your unit.
Connection may only be realised using preinstalled plugs. When
an openly exposed power cable is used, care must be taken to
eliminate any associated tripping hazards.
We recommend that the unit be inspected by a qualified techni-
cian every two years.
Connection to Gas Supply
Propane gas
Units operated on propane gas must be connected to the gas
supply by a qualified service contractor. This contractor will decide
on the type of supply lines and the scope of the gas supply sys-
tem. The installation is then to be inspected and approved by an
appropriately authorised specialist.
With propane gas systems a gas regulator is placed between the
gas cylinders and the unit in the supply line which supplies the
unit with a constant operational pressure of 50 or 30 mbar. Please
consult the unit's type label for the correct operational pressure!
It is absolutely mandatory that only gas regulators labelled "50
mbar" or "30 mbar" are used!
We recommend that the unit be inspected by a qualified techni-
cian every two years.
Natural gas
Connection of units operated with natural gas is always and only
to be arranged in consultation with the local gas utility.
The connection of the grill unit to the supply network must be
performed by an authorized gas technician. The installation must
then be inspected and approved by the responsible gas utility.
We recommend that the unit be inspected by a qualified techni-
cian every two years.
!Regulators with adjustable operational pressure or high-
pressure regulators must not be used under any circum-
stances. They endanger the proper functionality and opera-
tional safety of the unit!
A sheet metal covering must secure propane gas systems against
tampering by unauthorised third parties! If the location of the unit
or the gas supply system are changed, the unit and leak-tightness
of the gas supply system are to be inspected after each change.
Gas cylinders and gas tanks with more than 14 kg content may
not be placed in the same room with or next to the unit!
Connection to exhaust gas removal system
This connection must be made by an authorised HVAC/ventilation
contractor.
The exhaust gas temperature 50 cm above the unit lid is appro-
ximately 170°C.
