1. Introduction

The iSense is an OpenTherm timer thermostat with many enhanced functions.
The controller is supplied in two versions:
• iSense OpenTherm
• iSense RF (wireless), with the iBase RF (base station) transmitter
This manual covers both versions (OpenTherm and RF). Where information only pertains to one of
the two versions then this is clearly stated.
A full description of the controller can be found in the Installation and Service manual.

2. Overview

The controller is menu-controlled, which means it is very simple to operate: it only has three buttons.
