Preparing the dishes.
Follow the instructions to prepare the dishes.
Always make sure that dishes to be prepared are always fresh and of high quality.
Always make sure that meat, fish, seafood and poultry, for example, have been sto-
red at temperatures below 5°C before use. Before use, vacuum bags have to be clean
and unused in order to avoid impurities. Always prepare food only on clean working
surfaces. Wash your hands thoroughly before preparation.
Prepare the dishes in the correct size (thickness) and at the right temperature.

Don't use rice bags or any ingredient that may generate foam, like cream, eggs
and liquid dairies. Such might leak and damage the equipment and generate
electric shock risks .
Make sure that no liquid or rice fall to the heating tray. The heating tray must
be kept constantly dry and clean. Don't use vinegar, as it might damage the in-
ner pot and the heating tray. Make sure that the steam separator is positioned
correctly before turning on the device.

Accurately measure the rice, then wash it.
• Measure the rice using measuring cup provided.

• Wash rice, and put the rice into the Inner Pot.
• Choose the level of water, based on the selected menu setting and the quantity of
the rice being cooked.
• If the water level is incorrect, excess water may boil over.
• Adjust the water level according to your own preference. The water level may be adjusted
by up to ¼ of a graduation level. If the amount of water is to great, it may boil over.
• Make sure that any rice grains or water droplets remaining on the outside of the Inner Pot
or the inner wall of the main body are removed.
Water remaining in these areas may cause noise during the cooking process.
• Gently turn the Inner Pot from side to side a few times to level the rice.
