Product description
The IGS6-10 is a GSM add-on modem. It connects to the Sintony60 bus and can
function as main dialler or back-up dialler to the one in the control panel.
When an event or alarm takes place the unit can report to either a central station
or send an SMS message to a cellular phone independently.
The following protocols can be used simultaneously:
• CID - TCP/IP
• CID - GPRS
• SMS - GSM

Produktbeschreibung
Das IGS6-10 ist ein GSM-Zusatzmodem. Es wird an den Sintony60-Bus
angeschlossen und kann als Haupt-Wählmodem oder als Reserve-Modem zum
Modem der Zentrale eingesetzt werden.
Wenn ein Ereignis eintritt oder ein Alarm ausgelöst wird, kann das Gerät
entweder einen Bericht an eine zentrale Stelle übertragen oder eine SMS an ein
Mobiltelefon senden.
Folgende Protokolle können gleichzeitig verwendet werden:
• CID - TCP/IP
• CID - GPRS
• SMS - GSM

Installation
Loosen the 2 retaining screws (Fig. 1).
Open the unit (Fig. 1).
Choose a suitable location for the unit within 1 to 20 m of the control panel.
Drill holes in the wall (2a for back tamper contact) by using the paper drill
template.
Mount the unit to the wall by using the enclosed screws (Fig. 2).
Connection
Insert the SIM card into the SIM card holder and lock it (Fig. 3).
The SIM card is not part of the scope of delivery.
The SIM card needs to be activated for GPRS data services (unlocked).
Connect the unit to the Sintony 60 bus (Fig. 4).
Insert and connect the battery (Fig. 5).
Program the unit with the enclosed software and the programming cable.
For programming refer to the Configuration Manual of the unit.
Attach the cover and screw in the retaining screw.
Installation
Lösen Sie die Halteschrauben (Abb. 1).
Öffnen Sie das Gerät (Abb. 1).
Wählen Sie einen geeigneten Montageort im Umkreis von 1 bis 20 m der
Zentrale.
Bohren Sie unter Verwendung der Bohrschablone Löcher in die Wand (2a
für Sabotagekontakt).
Befestigen Sie das Gerät mit den beiliegenden Schrauben an der Wand
(Abb. 2).
Anschließen
Stecken Sie die SIM-Karte in den SIM-Kartenhalter ein, und arretieren Sie
sie (Abb. 3).
Die SIM-Karte ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Die SIM-Karte muss für GPRS-Datendienste aktiviert (entsperrt) werden.
Schließen Sie das Gerät an den Sintony60-Bus an (Abb.4).
Legen Sie die Batterie ein, und schließen Sie sie an (Abb. 5).
Programmieren Sie das Gerät mit der beiliegenden Software und dem
Programmierkabel.
Hinweise zum Programmieren finden Sie im Konfigurationshandbuch des
Geräts.
Bringen Sie die Abdeckung an, und drehen Sie die Halteschraube hinein.
