Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zum Einbau in einen Computer vorgesehen und stellt dort zwei externe eSATA-
Anschlüsse zur Verfügung.
Dieses Produkt erfüllt die gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen. Alle enthaltenen
Firmennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen Inhaber. Alle Rechte vor-
behalten.

Einbau
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau besitzen, so lassen Sie den Einbau
von einer FACHKRAFT oder einer entsprechenden Fachwerkstatt durchführen!
Durch unsachgemäßen Einbau wird sowohl die Steckkarte als auch Ihr Computer
und alle angeschlossenen Geräte beschädigt.
Vorsicht, Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie den Computer, in den die Steckkarte eingebaut werden soll und alle
angeschlossenen Geräte aus und trennen Sie alle Geräte von der Netzspannung,
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker! Das Ausschalten über den Ein-/Ausschalter genügt
nicht!
• Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers und nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel vorsichtig ab.
• Suchen Sie einen freien PCIe-Steckplatz, entfernen Sie das zugehörige Slotblech und stecken Sie
die Steckkarte in den PCIe-Steckplatz ein. Schrauben Sie die Steckkarte fest, kontrollieren Sie den
korrekten Sitz im PCIe-Steckplatz des Mainboards!
Bei Bedarf kann das Slotblech an der Steckkarte ausgetauscht werden, um sie in ein
flaches PC-Gehäuse einbauen zu könnnen.
• Die beiden LED-Anschlüsse auf der Steckkarte dienen als Zugriffs-LED (LED blinkt bei Lese-/
Schreibzugriffen). Wenn Sie hier LEDs Ihres PC-Gehäuses anschließen wollen, so achten Sie auf
die richtige Polarität der LEDs (Kennzeichnung „+" auf der Steckkarte beachten). Wenn die jeweilige
LED später bei Lese-/Schreibzugriffen nicht blinkt, drehen Sie den Stecker des LED-
Anschlusskabels um 180°.
• Verschließen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers.
• Verbinden Sie Computer und Monitor wieder mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie alle Geräte ein.
• Startet Ihr Computer nicht korrekt, so schalten Sie ihn sofort aus und kontrollieren Sie sämtliche
Einstellungen und Kabelverbindungen.
Vor dem erneuten Öffnen des Computers ist dieser von der Netzspannung zu
trennen, siehe oben!
Treiber-Installation
Windows erkennt die Steckkarte automatisch. Legen Sie den mitgelieferten Treiber-Datenträger in das
entsprechende Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein und folgen Sie allen Anweisungen.
Zum Zeitpunkt der Erstellung dieser Bedienungsanleitung befand sich der erforderliche
Treiber im Verzeichnis SATA6G_M9128" der mitgelieferten CD.
Anschließend ist möglicherweise ein Neustart von Windows nötig, bevor die SATA-Geräte einwandfrei
erkannt werden.
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetz-
lichen Bestimmungen.

Installation
• Open your computer's housing and carefully remove the cover.
• Locate a free PCIe slot, remove the corresponding slot cover and insert the card into the PCIe slot.
Screw the plug-in card firmly into place and make sure it is positioned correctly in the PCIe slot on
the motherboard!
• The two LED connections on the plug-in card are used for access LEDs (LED flashes during read/
write access). If you wish to connect LEDs on your PC housing here, pay attention to the correct pola-
rity of the LEDs (observe the labelling "+" on the plug-in card). If the corresponding LED does not flash
during read/write accesses, turn the plug on the LED connection cable by 180°.
• Close the computer housing.
• Connect your computer and monitor to the mains voltage again and switch on all devices.
• If your computer does not start correctly, switch it off immediately and check all the settings and cable
connections.
Driver installation
Windows detects the plug-in card automatically. Insert the data carrier supplied, with the driver, into the
appropriate drive on your computer and follow the instructions displayed.
It might be necessary to restart Windows, before the SATA devices are properly recognised.

If in doubt about how to install the device correctly, please contact an EXPERT or a
specialist workshop and let them do the installation!
Incorrect installation can damage both the plug-in card and the computer, along
with all connected devices.
Caution, lethal hazard!
Switch off the computer in which the plug-in card is to be installed, and all con-
nected devices, and disconnect all devices from the mains voltage, remove the plug
from the mains! Switching the device off with the ON/OFF button is not sufficient!
If required, the slot bracket on the plug-in card can be removed and replaced, in order to
install the card in a flat PC housing.
Before you open the computer again, it needs to be disconnected from the mains
voltage, see above!
At the time of writing these operating instructions, the driver was to be found in the directory
"SATA6G_M9128" on the enclosed CD.
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statu-
tory requirements.
