Warnings
ATTENTION DANGER TO LIFE!
•
Never open the housing of the flash unit. High voltage is present and there is a risk of
life-threatening electric shock.
•
Work with the device only with dry hands. Working with wet hands is life-threatening and
can damage the device.
General Safety Instructions
•
Read the operating instructions, including the warning and safety instructions, before the
first use.
•
Note that the device is not splash-proof.
•
Note that no other battery may be used than the original Jinbei battery. If the battery is
replaced by an incorrect type, there is a risk of explosion.
•
The device may only be serviced or repaired by authorized and qualified personnel!
Modifications or alterations to the unit are prohibited.
•
If you find a problem with the flash unit, contact your Jinbei dealer immediately!
Safety Instructions for Using and Storing the Unit
•
Remove the protective cap before use and take care, that the ventilation slits of the
device are not covered during use. Otherwise, the device itself and easily flammable
materials in the vicinity could inflame.
•
Do not trigger the flash at a very close distance to objects, people or animals. Keep a
minimum distance of about two meters. The flash releases intense heat and can cause
serious injury and damage.
•
Note that the flash tube, modelling light and a connected reflector can become very hot
during operation. Do not touch these parts during or immediately after operation. Allow
the unit components to cool down before replacing the flash tube or reflector.
•
Do not use or store the unit in places where it is exposed to moisture or extreme
temperature fluctuations. Both can lead to the formation of condensation water and thus
to damage inside the unit.
•
Keep the flash unit away from water and other liquids. Avoid splashing water on the unit.
•
Do not store or use the flash unit in places where it is exposed to strong electromagnetic
fields or dust. Keep the unit away from other sources of interference.
