Pin assignment AKD controller
STO (X1 Pin3) is the safe torque cut-off of the drive (Safe Torque Off). It is
only possible to start the drive if a 24 VDC signal is present at the input. If the
signal is removed, the engine will decelerate.
ENABLE (X8 Pin4) is the hardware release of the drive. It is only possible to
start the drive if a 24 VDC signal is present at the input. If the signal is
removed, the engine will decelerate.
DIGITAL-IN7 (X7 Pin2) is used to control the start command for the medium
oil. As long as a 24 VDC signal is present at the input, the drive is switched
on. If a 0 V signal is applied again, the drive brakes with a defined braking
ramp.
DIGITAL-IN3 (X7 Pin4) is used to control the start command for the medium
grease. As long as a 24 VDC signal is present at the input, the drive is
switched on. If a 0 V signal is applied again, the drive brakes with a defined
braking ramp.
A 24 VDC signal at input STO must always be applied first! Only then may a
24 VDC signal be applied to the ENABLE input with a delay of at least 100 ms.
DIGITAL-OUT2 (X7 Pin5) is an output that provides a 24 VDC signal as soon
as the drive is powered up.
FAULT (X8 Pin2) provides a 24 VDC signal if there is no fault (the
servocontroller is ready). A 0 VDC signal is present at the output if there is a
fault in the servo controller.
Speed adjustment rotary dosing unit
It is possible to adjust the rotary speed with the potentiometer (E11) from 0 to 10'000
U/min. To slow the speed down turn the potentiometer left to increase the speed turn
potentiometer right.
We recommend for grease a speed between 6000 and 10'000 U/mi.
With oil, we recommend a speed between 3000 and 6000 U/min.
Control sequence
The specified control sequence must be strictly observed in order to prevent errors in
the controller and, above all, unwanted leakage of the medium!
