lich durch und heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese hochauflösende Farbkamera ist speziell für den
Einsatz in Video-Überwachungsanlagen (CCTV) konzi-
piert. Sie verfügt über ein Zoomobjektiv (4 – 9 mm) mit
geregelter Blende, einen automatischen elektronischen
Verschluss (Shutter) und einen automatischen Weißab-
gleich.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Die Kamera entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtlinien der
EU und deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Die Kamera ist nur zur Verwendung im Innenbereich
geeignet. Schützen Sie sie vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu lässiger Einsatz-
temperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Berühren Sie die Objektivlinse nicht mit den Fingern
und verwenden Sie zum Säubern der Linse nur Mittel
speziell für optische Linsen.

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Gehäuses nur ein
trockenes, weiches Tuch. Die Kunststoffkuppel kann
nach dem Abschrauben ggf. mit einem milden Reini-
gungsmittel gesäubert werden.

Wird die Kamera zweckentfremdet, falsch installiert
oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und
keine Garantie für die Kamera übernommen werden.

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to
installing the camera and keep them for later use.
1 Applications
This high-resolution colour camera is especially designed
for use in video surveillance systems (CCTV). It is
equipped with a zoom lens (4 – 9 mm) with regulated iris,
an automatic electronic shutter, and an automatic white
balance.
2 Important Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to all required directives of the EU
and is therefore marked with .

The camera is only suitable for indoor use. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air humid-
ity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature range
0 – 40 °C).

Do not touch the lens with your fingers and only use
specific cleaning agents for optical lenses for cleaning
the lens.

For cleaning the housing only use a dry, soft cloth. After
unscrewing, the plastic dome may be cleaned with a
mild detergent, if necessary.

No guarantee claims for the camera and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage will
be accepted if the camera is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not installed correctly, or
not repaired in an expert way.

Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Installation
1) Die Kunststoffkuppel vom Sockel (6) abschrauben.
Den Sockel über seine drei Montagelöcher an der
Decke oder an der Wand festschrauben. Der Sicht-
schutz (7) gibt immer nur ein Montageloch frei, lässt
sich jedoch drehen. Er darf aber nicht mehr als 180° in
eine Richtung gedreht werden, damit die interne Flach-
bandleitung nicht beschädigt wird.
2) Die BNC-Kupplung (1) über ein 75-Ω-Koaxialkabel mit
dem Videoeingang eines Monitors verbinden. Dabei
auf den korrekten 75-Ω-Abschluss am Monitor bzw. bei
einer Serienschaltung am letzten Monitor achten. Bei
einer Kabellänge von mehr als 100 m sollte zum Aus-
gleich von Pegelverlusten durch das Kabel ein Video-
verstärker (z. B. TW-200SET von MONACOR) zwischen
die Kamera und das lange Kabel geschaltet werden.
3) An die Kleinspannungskupplung (2) ein stabilisiertes
12-V-Netzgerät mit einer Dauerbelastbarkeit von
110 mA anschließen (z. B. PS-500ST von MONACOR).
Es wird ein Stecker mit den Abmessungen 5,5/2,1 mm
(Außen-/Innendurchmesser) benötigt. Am Innenkon-
takt muss der Pluspol anliegen.
4) Nach dem Anlegen der Versorgungsspannung ist die
Kamera betriebsbereit. Den Monitor einschalten und
die Kamera auf den Überwachungsbereich ausrichten.
Den Sichtschutz (7) zusammen mit dem oberen Kame-
rateil nicht mehr als 180° in eine Richtung drehen,
damit die Flachbandleitung nicht beschädigt wird.

posal which is not harmful to the environment.
3 Installation
1) Unscrew the plastic dome from the base (6). Screw the
base via its three mounting holes to the ceiling or wall.
The visual protection (7) only shows one mounting hole
at a time but it can be turned. However, it must not be
turned more than 180° in one direction so that the inter-
nal ribbon cable will not be damaged.
2) Connect the BNC inline jack (1) via a 75 Ω coaxial cable
to the video input of a monitor. Pay attention to the cor-
rect 75 Ω termination at the monitor or in case of series
connection at the last monitor. With a cable length of
more than 100 m, a video amplifier (e. g. TW-200SET
from MONACOR) should be inserted between the cam-
era and the long cable to compensate the level loss
caused by the cable.
3) Connect a regulated 12 V power supply unit with a per-
manent current rating of 110 mA (e. g. PS-500ST from
MONACOR) to the low voltage inline jack (2). A plug
with the dimensions 5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside diame-
ter) is required. The positive pole must be at the inside
contact.
4) After applying the supply voltage, the camera is ready
for operation. Switch on the monitor and adjust the
camera to the surveillance zone. Do not turn the visual
protection (7) together with the upper camera part
more than 180° in one direction so that the ribbon cable
will not be damaged.

5) Mit dem Zoom-Einstellring (3) den Bildausschnitt ein-
stellen und mit dem Fokus-Einstellring (4) das Bild auf
dem Monitor scharf stellen. Der jeweilige Einstellhebel
ist gleichzeitig eine Feststellschraube und muss zuvor
gelöst und nach der Einstellung wieder festgezogen
werden.
6) Sollte trotz optimaler Beleuchtung das Bild auf dem
Monitor zu hell oder zu dunkel erscheinen, kann mit
dem Trimmpotentiometer LEVEL (5) die Blende gene-
rell mehr geöffnet (Richtung +) oder geschlossen (Rich-
tung -) werden.
7) Zuletzt die Kunststoffkuppel wieder auf den Sockel
schrauben.

5) Adjust the picture cutout with the zoom adjusting ring
(3) and adjust a clear picture on the monitor with the
focus adjusting ring (4). The respective adjusting lever
is a locking screw at the same time and must be
released before and retightened after the adjustment.
6) If in spite of optimum illumination, the picture on the
monitor should appear too dark or too bright, it is in
general possible to further open (direction +) or close
(direction -) the iris with the trimming potentiometer
LEVEL (5).
7) Finally screw the plastic dome on the base.
