machine on and
off

Advice for

Always disconnect the plug from the socket before carrying out any work on the
machine.
Before switching the saw on, fit the blades securely, as follows:
1.
Remove the four bolts which are loosely fitted to the gear on the saw, using the
6 mm Allen Key supplied.
2.
Remove blades carefully from the package.
3.
Fasten the saw blades with the provided four screws to the machine. Fasten
the screws with the provided Allen key as tight as possible (60 Nm–90 Nm). Do not
use any key extension!
The blades should face forwards, with the flat surfaces together.
Intermittant Use
Switching on: Press locking button  and
then on–off control .
Switching off: Release on–off control and
locking button.
Continuous Use
Switching on: Press locking  button and
then on–off control . Release on–off
control  and then release locking
button .
Switching off: Press on–off control and
then release.
The ventilation slots of the machine must be kept clear at all times.
All new saws are delivered packed with grease and ready for use. At service
intervals the grease and seals should be replaced to keep the saw in optimum
working condition.
Your Milwaukee Service Agent has service kits to enable this product to be quickly
and effectively serviced.
Use only Milwaukee accessories and spare parts. Should components need to be
exchanged which have not been described, please contact one of our Milwaukee
service agents (see our list of guarantee/service addresses).
If needed, an exploded view of the tool can be ordered. Please state the ten–digit
No. as well as the machine type printed on the label and order the drawing at your
local service agents or directly at: Milwaukee Electric Tool, Postfach 320, D–71361
Winnenden.
Before switching the saw on, check that both blades are fitted securely (see Fitting
the Blades). Hold the machine securely by the front and rear handles.
Switch on the saw as described before.
Push the curve of the blades firmly into the surface to be cut, until the teeth "bite" into
it.
Guide the saw along the full line of cut, to mark the outline of the hole to be made.
To deepen the cut, move the saw backwards and forwards in a sawing or rocking
action using all the blade teeth. (This clears dust from the teeth; speeds up the
cutting action; spreads wear evenly over all the teeth and reduces vibration.)
To make right–angled corner cuts without over cutting, deepen the cut using the back
