The TKS knee orthosis helps control
EN-2
structural instabilities of the knee by
EN-2
supporting the physiological movement
EN-2
of the knee joint. The orthosis consists

of two lateral aluminum braces which
EN-3
are linked by two aluminum straps. The
EN-3
padded lining of the orthosis offers a high
EN-3
level of wearing comfort. On the front of

the leg, an aluminum straps runs across
EN-4
the thigh above the knee, on the back of
EN-4
the leg, the second aluminum strap runs
EN-4
across the calf below the knee. The upper
EN-5
fastening is positioned at the back of the
EN-5
thigh. It is closed with a strong textile
EN-5
strap. The bottom fastening is positioned
EN-5
on the front of the lower leg. It features
an anatomically shaped, cushioned pad
which helps avoid too much pressure on
the tibia. The knee joint's range of motion
can be manipulated by adjusting the con-
nections between the aluminum straps
and the lateral braces, and by adjusting
the fastenings.
