Each control knob indicates which burner it controls.(Fig.1)
To turn on a burner.
Connect the appliance by means of the main switch,
its indicator which will come on.Then turn the chosen
burner control to the left (anticlockwise) to the required
position. The flame will automatically and the hotplate
indicator light will come on.
If the spark plugs are dirty, then a fault may occur in the
ignition system. Keep them completely clean. Clean the
spark plugs using a small brush, remembering that the
plugs must not receive any kind of violent impact.
If the main switch has been pushed but no burner
ignited, the appliance will switch itself off
automatically after 3 minutes.
If the burner goes out (e.g. a draught) when in use,
the appliance will switch the hotplate on again
automatically.
If this ignition is unsuccessful (e.g. as a result of
boiled-over liquid on the burner), the flow of gas to
this burner is interrupted and the hotplate indicator
flashes. Turn the control knob to
whether the cause can be rectified using the table on
page 13.
Every hotplate features a safety pilot!
This means that if the flame ever goes out (e.g. is
extinguished by boiled-over liquid), the flow of gas is
interrupted.
To turn the burners off,
After finishing cooking, turn the controls to position
and disconnect the appliance using the main switch.
The main switch indicator will be turned off.
The appliance switches off automatically after 6
hours of operation. Turn all the control knobs to the
position and then you can turn the appliance on
again.
Your modern functional hob is equipped with progressive
valves which permit you to find the perfect flame setting
between maximum and minimum.
Depending on the model that you have purchased, your
hob may come with a triple-flame burner, the perfect
