Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.

your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to

Check the socket with another appliance.
Check the tightness of the mains plug.

side temperature rises, the compressor au-
tomatically turns on.
Select a lower setting (see 'Setting the tem-
perature' on page EN-11).
Select a higher setting (see 'Setting the tem-
perature' on page EN-11).

Freeze a maximum of 3 kg at any one time.
Adjust the ambient temperature to the cli-
mate category (see 'Intended use' on
page EN-5).
Set the appliance to maximum refriger-
ation (see 'Setting the temperature' on
page EN-11). If the compressor does not
switch on within an hour, please contact our
Service department (see page EN-28).
Humming: Refrigeration unit is running.
Flowing noise: Refrigerant is flowing through
the pipes.
Clicking: Compressor is switching on or off.
Check the installation and re-adjust if nec-
essary.
Unblock the defrost drain using the enclosed
cleaning rod.
