Solar generator connection
IPE 2700 - 5000 SN 05
x The ambient temperature must be within the range -25 to +40 °C. At ambient tem-
peratures above 40°C, the inverter reduces its output automatically.
x The inverter should not be exposed to direct sunlight to protect it from excessive
external warming.
Proceed as follows to install the inverter:
1. Hold the wall bracket at the point at which you want to attach the inverter and
mark the mounting holes.
2. Drill the holes with a 10 mm dia. drill bit. A drilling template with precise dimen-
sions can be found in the appendix.
3. Install the wall bracket with suitable screws and wall plugs depending on the sur-
face condition.
4. Release the retaining screw at the bottom right of the inverter with an Allen key.
5. Hook the inverter into the cut-outs of the installation frame at the top on both si-
des.
6. Secure the inverter by tightening the retaining screw.
DANGER
Extreme danger from electric shock!
x Touching live parts can result in death.
x All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician while observing
the VDE regulations, national and other regulations.
x Execute the direct current wiring in accordance with the system dimensioning of
your planning expert.
x Prepare all solar generator cables before connecting the solar generator to the
inverter.
