Temperature and Ambient Conditions
The AUDIOLINE 838G is designed for use in protected
rooms with a temperature range of +5 °C to 45 °C. The
unit must not be installed in damp rooms such as a
bathroom or laundry room. Avoid proximity to sources of
heat such as radiators and do not expose the unit to di-
rect sunlight. Adequate ventilation must be provided for
the plug-in mains power supply and the answering ma-
chine in order to prevent overheating.
European Approval and CE Marking
Your AUDIOLINE 838G is approved for use on the
German telephone network. The approval mark is on
the underside of your telephone. The telephone is
approved in accordance with EU Directive 91/263/
EEC for telecommunications equipment. Accordingly,
anybody can connect the unit to a telephone socket
and put it to use. This telephone fulfils the require-
ments of the EU Directives:
