Use a damp cloth and regular cleaning agents to clean the scale. Do not use any scouring
agents.

Measuring Technical Note

This device is interference-free in accordance with the applicable EC Directive 2004/108/EC.
The device is a measuring instrument. Wind, vibration, rapid temperature changes and sun
exposure can have an effect on the measurement result.
Disposal of used electrical and electronic appliances including batteries:
According to our present knowledge the scale contains no environmentally harmful sub-
stances. This product is not to be treated as regular household waste, but should be handed
in to an electrical/ electronic equipment recycling center. You can obtain further details from
your local council, your municipal waste disposal company or the company from which you
purchased the product.
Battery disposal: Do not dispose of batteries in the household trash. You will find these
signs on batteries containing hazardous substances: Pb = battery contains lead, Cd = battery
contains cadmium, Hg = battery contains mercury.
