Error code Description
Err 3 Internal communication error
in Bluetooth® module, scale
switches off after 5 seconds.
Err 4 Bluetooth® transmission error,
scale switches off after
5 seconds.
Err 5 Bluetooth® transmission
aborted after two attempts,
scale switches off after
5 seconds.
Err 8 Bluetooth® pairing refused,
scale switches off after
5 seconds.

Please contact the vendor
where you bought your
BodyTel device.
Please check whether a
Bluetooth® device is in reach.
Start the BodyTel Mobile app
on your mobile phone
(smartphone) or Home Gateway and
check whether Bluetooth®
connection is enabled.
Please check whether a
Bluetooth® device is in reach.
Start the BodyTel Mobile app
on your mobile phone or Home
Gateway and check whether
Bluetooth® connection is enabled.
Please check whether you have
entered the correct Bluetooth®
password (9676) on your
