Fitting the rear-mounted bicycle rack to the vehicle
G
WARNING
Every time your perform a fitting, before you set off on a journey and
periodically during long journeys, check all screws/locking
mechanisms, retainers and straps on the rear-mounted bicycle rack
to make sure that they are secure. Retighten them if necessary. The
anchorages could come loose of their own accord, and the
rear-mounted bicycle rack with the mounted bicycles could come
loose from your vehicle, thereby injuring yourself and others and/or
causing damage to property, including damage to your vehicle. Check
that the light fitting is in perfect working order. Repeat these checks
at regular intervals depending on the road surface conditions, but at
least after every 1,550 miles (2,500 km) of continuous use. There is a
risk of an accident.
