ELECTRIC SAFETY

1. Only connect the device to AC
according to the label.
2. The device must not be used with
an extension cord.
3. The device must not be used with
an external timer or remote cont-
rol system.
4. Control, power cord and plug must
never be put into water or other
liquids. Only the heating element
must be placed in the water.
5. After use and before cleaning as
well as with eventual malfunctions
while use; always pull the power
plug.
6. Pull the plug immediately if the
device falls into the water-filled
pot or the control gets wet. Let
the device be checked by an
authorised customer support
before using it again. Otherwise
there is danger of electric shock.
7. Device and power cords must
not be used on or close to hot
surfaces.
8. Unwind the cable completely
before using the device. The cable
must not hang down over the
edge of the tabletop.
9. Never leave the device unsupervi-
sed when it is plugged in.
10. Check the plug and cording regu-
larly for damages or wear.
11. Incorrect repairs can result in
danger to the user and the forfei-
ture of the warranty. If parts are
damaged, they must be replaced
by the manufacturer, an authori-
sed technician or a similarly
qualified person.
