As an owner of an electric and electronic device, it is not permi ed by law (under
EU Directive 2002/96/EC of 27 January 2003 on electric and electronic devices
and the Electrics and Electronics Act of 16.3.2005) to dispose of this device or its
electric/electronic accessories via unsorted domestic waste.
• Instead, use the free collection centres intended for this purpose.
• Contact your city or municipal administration for information.
• You can also return the device to Vorwerk's customer service department.

The integrated lithium ion ba eries contain substances that can damage the
environment. Before scrapping the VC100, the rechargeable ba eries have got to
be removed from the device and disposed of at a ba ery collection site.
