• The device can become very hot depending on the tempera-
ture setting and the duration of use. When the device is hot, it
must only be held using the handle [8] – risk of burns and fire!
• Do not touch the hot plates [1]. Risk of burns!
• Do not clamp objects between the hot plates [1].
• Switch the device off immediately if it is faulty or not working
properly.
Important
• Untangle the mains cable [7] if it is twisted.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable [7] and do not pull
or route it over/on sharp, pointed objects or hot surfaces.
• Do not jam the mains cable [7] in drawers or doors, for
example. Damaged or tangled mains cables [7] increase the
risk of electric shock!
Note
• The higher the temperature selected, the faster you will
achieve the desired result.
• If you use the maximum temperature, do not go over the
same section of hair more than once.
Straightening/styling hair
> Dry your hair thoroughly before using the hair straightener.
> Hair should be clean and free from styling products. The
exception to this is special products designed to help
straighten hair.
> Comb your hair with a large-toothed comb to get rid of any
tangles.
> Unlock the hair straightener at the locking mechanism [6] by
pushing the switch to the position
> To switch on the hair straightener, press and hold the ON/
OFF switch [4] for three seconds.
