Code über CAN - Bus mit Bordcomputer
Das Autoradio besitzt einen Comfort Diebstahlschutz.
Dabei kommuniziert das Gerät nur noch mit dem Bordcomputer des
Fahrzeuges, mit dem es ausgeliefert wurde.
So ist z.B. beim Abklemmen der Autobatterie, sowie beim Aus- und
Wiedereinbau in dasselbe Fahrzeug, keine Codeeingabe erforder-
lich.
Zur Information:
Wenn das Autoradio von einem Fahrzeug mit CAN - Bus in ein
anderes Fahrzeug mit CAN - Bus eingebaut wird, ist folgende
Vorgehensweise zu beachten:
1. Das Display zeigt für 2 Sekunden "CANCHECK".
2. Die Anzeige wechselt für 1 Sekunde auf "CODE".
3. Danach erscheint "_ _ _ _".
4. Geben Sie den 4-stelligen Mastercode aus dem Autoradiopass
ein.
Beispiel:
Die einzugebende Code-Nummer lautet 4 1 4 1
(Drücken Sie die Stationstaste 4 )
(Drücken Sie die Stationstaste 1 )
(Drücken Sie die Stationstaste 4 )
(Drücken Sie die Stationstaste 1 )
Nach ca. 1 Sekunde schaltet das Gerät auf den Normalzustand um.
Wichtig:
Wenn der Code nicht innerhalb von 20 Sekunden komplett
eingegeben wurde muß die Prozedur wiederholt werden.
Nach jeder Fehleingabe der Code-Nummer verdoppelt sich die
Wartezeit. Die Zeit beginnt bei 1 Minute und endet bei 24 Stunden.
Nach einer Fehleingabe erscheint für die Dauer der Wartezeit im
Display die Anzeige:
Das Gerät muß dabei eingeschaltet bleiben!

Code via CAN bus with on-board computer
The car radio is equipped with a convenient theft-protection
function, whereby the set only communicates with the on-board
computer of the vehicle in which it is built into.
As a result, the code no longer has to be re-entered e.g. after
having disconnected the battery or after having removed and re-
installed the equipment from/into the vehicle.
For information:
The following procedure has to be observed when mounting the
radio from one vehicle equipped with a CAN bus into another
vehicle equipped with a CAN bus:
1. The display shows "CANCHECK" for two seconds.
2. The display changes to „CODE" for one second.
3. Afterwards the display shows „_ _ _ _".
4. Now enter the 4-digit master code from the car radio passport.
Example:
The code number might be 4 1 4 1
(Press preset button 4 )
(Press preset button 1 )
(Press preset button 4 )
(Press preset button 1 )
The unit will switch back to normal operation after approximately
1 second.
Important:
If the code is not entered completely within 20 seconds, it is
necessary to repeat the procedure.
The waiting time doubles each time a wrong code is entered. The
waiting time starts with 1 minute and ends with 24 hours.
After a wrong entry of the code number, the display shows:
Do not switch off the unit during the waiting time!
