GHOST EPAC
WARNING
Danger of burns
After long downhill rides it is possible that the brake discs have become very hot.
Do not touch the brake discs immediately after a downhill ride.
Allow the brake discs to cool down for at least 5 minutes before touching
them.
In order to check the temperature, lightly tap with your bare finger very
briefly on the brake discs. If these are hot, wait a few minutes and repeat
this test until the brake discs have cooled down completely.
NOTE:
Your EPAC has a disc brake. After dismantling the wheel you should use the enclosed
transport lock when transporting the EPAC. Remove this only immediately before
installing the wheels again.
1. If your EPAC has been retrofitted with a hub dynamo:
Disconnect the plug connector between dynamo and wiring.
2. Open the quick-release axle See section 8.4.1, Opening,
closing the quickrelease axles .
3. Unscrew the lock nut until it is just still on the axle.
4. Pick up your EPAC with the handlebars and pull the front wheel out of the
fork ends of the front-wheel fork.
