2.1. Use with ISOFIT
For securing the child car seat with ISOFIT there is a
"semi universal" approval. This includes the exclusive attachment with the ISOFIT grid arms
to the ISOFIX attachment points in the vehicle. Please observe the vehicle type list and
the instructions in the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.
Even if you use the ISOFIX system, never secure your child or child car seat with a 2-point-
vehicle-belt. If your child is secured in the child seat only with a 2-pointvehicle-belt, it can
be seriously injured in an accident.
3. Installing the capsula® JR4X into your car
3.1. Installation with ISOFIT
Use the vehicle type list of your manufacturer to
check which vehicle seats are suitable for child car
seats.
Check the Isofi x guides regularly and clean away
any dirt, dust or food particles as they may effect
the safety of the system.
Before placing the capsula® JR4X on the car seat, fasten if necessary
in your vehicle the two supplied mounting aids (IH) to the ISOFIX an-
chors (IA). The ISOFIX mounting points are located between the seat
and the backrest of the car seat.
Check the safety indicators (IT). These must both be RED. If the safety
indicators (red) are not visible, press the green release tabs until you

hear an audible << CLICK >>.

The ISOFIX mounting points are located between the seat and the backrest of the car
seat.
Now put the two ISOFIX terminals (IK) on to the ISOFIX anchors (IA) in the car and CLICK
them into place until you hear a << CLICK >>.
Please check the markings on BOTH PAGES, whether the seat is correctly connected to
the two ISOFIX anchors (IA) of the car.
GREEN: the clamp is fi xed CORRECT.
RED: the clamp is NOT fi xed CORRECT,
Correct!
Only a proper fi xing of BOTH TERMINALS ensures that the seat is secured properly and
offers full protection to your child in the car!!!
Please check once more, if the child car seat is securely fi xed onto the seat.
4. Buckle up the child
Place the capsula® JR4X on the car seat, set
your child in the Booster and secure your child
with the lap (O) and diagonal belts (N) of the
three-point-vehicle-belt.
Now fasten the three-point seat-belt with an
audible »CLICK« sound (fi g.2).
