1. Introduction

1.3 System components

Open box and remove the control unit, cables and packing material. Lift the
antenna straight up out of the box. Never place the system upside down!
Antenna unit
The elegant plastic cover protects the antenna against external
weather conditions. Underneath is a 38 cm high performan-
ce antenna. The auto-skew system ensures the best possible
reception.
Control unit
The control unit is used for satellite selection and control. It is
connected between the antenna and the set-top box and sup-
plied the antenna with electricity. After successful alignment,
the device can be turned off.
Warning:
The control unit must be operated only on the selected anten-
na port. Only this is provided for controlling. The second port is
for use of an additional set-top box or for an twin set-top box.
