place where it is always possible to quickly remove the appliance power cord plug. Always
pull the power cord by the plug housing when unplugging it, never by the cord. If the power
cord or the plug is damaged, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and contact
an authorised service centre of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not use the appliance
with a damaged power cord or plug. The power cord or plug cannot be repaired and must be
replaced with a new one which is free of defects if these components are damaged.
Instructions for use
Caution! The appliance can only be used to make coff ee. It is forbidden to use the appliance
to prepare or heat other beverages. Use the appliance only with the supplied equipment or
the equipment specifi ed by the manufacturer. When using the appliance, the power cord
must be fully extended. A coiled cable may overheat and cause a risk of fi re and electric
shock. Make sure that the fl oor near the place of use of the appliance is not slippery. This will
prevent slipping, which can cause serious injuries. Fill the appliance with cold water only. Fill
the product's tank with water only by pouring it in the manner specifi ed in the manual. If the
tank cannot be disconnected from the appliance, disconnect the appliance's power cord plug
from the socket before fi lling with water. Never immerse the tank or appliance in order to fi ll
it water. If water is spilled when fi lling the tank, dry it thoroughly before connecting the appli-
ance to the power supply. Never switch the appliance on without any water in it. The water
level must always be between the minimum and maximum indicators. A lower water level
may damage the appliance or cause the appliance to not start up. Warning! Do not open the
lid when preparing coff ee. It is forbidden to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance on
one's own. All repairs to the product must be carried out by an authorised service centre. The
appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and over if they are supervised or instructed
to use the appliance in a safe manner and if they understand the risks involved. Cleaning and
maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years or older, and are
supervised. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years of
age. Do not use aggressive substances, solvents, caustics, alcohol, petrol or abrasives for
cleaning.

TOOL OPERATION

Preparing for operation
The product must be unpacked and all parts of the packaging removed. Unwrap the cord. Place the appliance according to the
manual. Wash the appliance's components before fi rst use in accordance with the instructions in the product maintenance section.
Operating the appliance
Open the lid of the coff ee maker and fi ll the tank with cold water. Do not exceed the maximum water level indicator - the marker
labelled MAX. It is recommended to use the jug included with the coff ee maker. When fi lling with water, be careful not to spill it. If
spillage occurs, the spilled water must be wiped thoroughly.
Put the strainer basket (II) inside the coff ee maker and then place the strainer (III) in the basket.
Pour the ground coff ee beans into the sieve in an amount appropriate to the amount of water in the tank and the strength of the
prepared coff ee. The strainer is designed in such a manner so as not to use additional, disposable fi lters.
Set the empty jug with the lid closed in place in the base. The bottom of the jug should be touching the heater over its entire
surface.
Plug the appliance's power cord plug in the socket.
A sound signal will be emitted and the display will show 12:00.
Pressing the "Prog" button will light up the "Clock" indicator. Pressing the "Hr" button will allow you to set the current hour and the
"Min" button, the current minutes.
