working speed to be reached without provoking a
reacting torque on starting the machine, and the
maximum speed is achieved after two seconds. You can
start working after that time.
Constant electronic speed adjustment (HSW6276CE,
HSW6276CEK, HSW6278CE,
HSW4206CE, HSW4206CEK,
HSW4208CEK) holds the speed between no-load and
working load nearly constant.
At short high overloading or long low overloading of the
tool, the built in overload protection electronics limits the
tool's operation, which turns very slowly when the load is
removed or it stops, if it is loaded again. By switching it
off and repeating the starting procedure the tool will
work normally.
Frequent operation of overload protection signifies that
the tool is excessively overloaded and the motor can be
damaged or its service life will be shortened. Besides,
excessive overloading will not improve either the speed
or the quality of the work.
We recommend you not to overload the tool in order the
overload protection will not switch off the tool; this way
you will protect the tool and the tool's performance will be
higher as grinding/cutting discs will be less worn out. We
advise you to cool down the tool under no load for at
least one minute in case of several successive
limiting functions.
Test run of new grinding discs.
A new grinding disc must be tested before you
start working with it. Switch on the tool for 30
seconds under no load. Grinding discs that cause
vibrations must be immediately removed!
Warnings for work with grinder
x Hold the grinder securely to control every movement.
x You can start working only when the disc has reached
its maximum speed.
!
Never switch on the tool if its disc touches the
workpiece.
x Switch off the tool only when the accessory is not in
contact with the workpiece anymore.
x Clamp the workpiece, if its weight does not hold it
securely.
x Do not overload the tool in order the overload
protection will not switch off the tool; this way you will
protect the tool and the tool's performance will be
higher as grinding/cutting discs will be less worn out.
Excessive overloading will not improve either the
speed or the quality of the work. It only causes
overloading and shortens its service life.
x Grinding and cutting discs get very hot during
operation therefore do not touch them till they cool
down.

During cutting, maintain an angle of 30° to 40°
between the tool's main axle and the part to be
worked on.
!
During grinding with a grinding disc or sanding
with sanding paper, hold the tool at an angle of 20°
to 30° to the part being worked on.

Unplug the tool from the socket
before performing any works on the
tool!
x Tool requires no special maintenance, but after some
time you must control the parts that are submitted to
wear-and-tear under normal operating conditions. This
includes the control and replacement of carbon
brushes and grease in reducing gear housing. Take
the tool to an authorized service centre.
x Keep the tool and supply cord clean. Keep ventilation
slots clean and open. Wipe the surface of the tool with
a soft cloth!

It is not allowed to use household cleaning agents
that contain petrol, trichloroethylene, ammonia
and chlorides. These substances corrode and
damage plastic parts of the tool.
x Excessive sparking generally indicates the presence
of dirt in the motor or abnormal wear on the carbons.

Ventilation slots must be cleaned regularly. Clean
them with a brush or compressed air.
!
In case of electric or mechanical failure, send the
tool to a Perles authorized service centre for
repair.

SERVICING AND REPAIRS

If servicing is required, contact one of our listed service
centres. It is forbidden and dangerous to perform any
individual work on the tool.

Have the tool repaired by authorized persons.
In case you buy spare parts in a shop, contact an
authorized service centre and have them assembled. In
case of non-compliance with the operating instructions
and instructions regarding servicing and repairs, the
producer is not held responsible for the damage caused
on property or personal injuries, and the user looses all
rights to guarantee.

Any repairs of the tool in unauthorized service
centres is performed at own responsibility.
!
The owner of the tool is responsible for all works
on the tool that were not performed in authorized
service centres, and therefore he looses the claim
for guarantee.

Guarantee is offered according to legal provisions that
are valid in individual countries.
Guarantee does not cover:
- Regular maintenance,
- Wear-and-tear materials
