3) Skew Adjustment

The calibration of azimuth and elevation will be sufficient in most installation situations , but
for the enhancement of satellite signal recption, Skew adjustment will be helpful. Skew adjust-
ment is performed using a skew bracket. For skew adjustment angle is engraved on the antenna
bracket, you can swivel antenna to the left for the negative value ,or to the right for the positive.

2) Azimuth Calibration

The orientation angle of your antenna depends
on the satellite which you wish to receive.
Search with a compass. The due South is at 180°.
To receive ASTRA satellite turn the compass until
the coloured part of the needle (black or red in
general) coincide with the north (0°).
Maintain the compass in this direction, seeking
the value of the azimuth selected. It indicates
the direction of the satellite. Turn the antenna
laterally in order to align with this direction.
