Intended use
This product is only intended for non-com-
mercial preparation of food on glass
ceramic, electric, gas and induction
cookers.
Any use other than previously stated is con-
sidered as improper use.

General safety instructions
► Read the instructions contained in this
user manual completely before you
work with the low-energy pot.

Risk of suffocation from the packing
material!
► Never play with packaging material.
Risk of suffocation.
Supervision
► Do not leave the low-energy pot unat-
tended during use.
► This low-energy pot is not intended for
use by children under 8 years of age or
persons with limited physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or with insuf-
ficient experience and/or knowledge
unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have
received instructions on the use of the
product from such a person.

Safe use
WARNING
Observe the following notes to avoid
injury:
► Before using each time, check that
the safety valve, regulating valve
and the sealing rings are clean and
functional (see section Checking the
safety valve page 10) and inspect
the low-energy pot for visible external
damage. Do not use a damaged low-
energy pot.
Observe the following instructions to
avoid burning/scalding:
► Only hold the low-energy pot with the
handle and operating elements. If
necessary, use gloves or pot holders.
► Hot steam can escape from the safety
valve and regulating valve. Keep a
safe distance from the low-energy
pot.
CAUTION
Observe the following instructions to
avoid damage to the low-energy pot or
hot plate:
► Never heat the low-energy pot without
liquid otherwise the pot can be dam-
aged by overheating. Fill the low-en-
ergy pot with at least 1/4 litre of liquid.
► Do not use the product in the oven.
Handles, valves, seals and safety
equipment will be damaged by high
temperatures.
