Press the "PROGRAM" button to store the parameters in the device, following the execution of the pro-
gramming command, a reset of the ethernet interface of the RQ instrument is automatically performed.
Following the automatic execution of the reset function, the parameter values stored in the device are no
longer displayed in the PC application "TCPServer Configurator" (PWIN33), repeat the device search pro-
cedure and the parameter reading function to verify correct saving of parameters.
TCP connection test
It is possible to test the connection directly through the PC applica-
tion "TCServer Configurator" (PWIN33). Enter the "Server Port"
parameter manually or use the parameter reading button ("READ"
button, see the specific "PARAMETER CONFIGURATION" section
on the previous page).
The "Server Port" parameter indicates the "TCP port" made availa-
ble by RQ / Ethernet, on which the PC application "TCPServer
Configurator" (Client) can establish a TCP connection.
Press the "CONNECT" button to establish a TCP connection with
RQ / Ethernet, the connection status is displayed in the appropriate
"Connection Status" section. To end a TCP connection, press the "DISCONNECT" button.
RQ / Ethernet can only accept and keep one connection active, before testing the connection make sure
that other Client devices on the network are not connected with RQ / Ethernet.
If the TCP connection test is performed successfully (Connection Status: Connected), the RQ device is
ready for use. The communication protocol selected with the "COM-2" parameter (see the specific para-
graph on page 70 of this manual) is available on the Ethernet interface of the RQ device.
The reset function of the ethernet interface of the RQ instrument can be performed at any
time (for example, in case of problems during the test of the TCP connection or during the
programming of the parameters), using the appropriate "RESET" button. This function does
