General instructions
• The car seat is for car use only.
• The car seat is developed for an intensive
use of approximately 12 years.
• The comfort cushion included in your Pearl
Pro² i-Size seat plays an integral part in the
efficiency of the restraint system for your
child from 67 to 84 cm. It can be removed for
washing, but it is essential to place it back
again where it belongs and only use this
official Maxi-Cosi Pearl Pro² i-Size comfort
cushion. This comfort cushion is exclusively for
use with the Pearl Pro² seat.
• Install the Pearl Pro² i-Size in a rearward-
facing position on a FamilyFix3 when your
child is between 67 and 105 cm.

• You may install the Pearl Pro² i-Size in a
forward-facing position on a FamilyFix3 when
your child is older than 15 months. However,
Maxi-Cosi recommends to use the Pearl Pro²
i-Size as long as possible rearward-facing.
• Make sure the headrest is adjusted to the
proper height.
• Make sure you can fit no more than one
finger between the harnesses and your child
(1 cm).
• The cover, headrest cover, shoulder pads and
comfort cushion can be removed for washing.
WARNING:
When using the Pearl Pro² i-Size in a rearward-
facing position, the maximal recline position
may only be used for a child with a maximum
length of 97 cm.
