SEGMENTO combination kit for the pressure-
tight external sealing of Ø 150 mm core
drillings. Replaceable sealing elements to ac-
commodate cables of varying diameters ranging
from Ø 5 to 31 mm.

Outside of building
Remove completely protective foil from the cable

entry present (after warming slightly).
If necessary, clean out concrete residue from the

wrench threads on the closing cover.
Use the SLS 6G(D) flexible socket wrench (accessories)
to open the closing cover via the wrench threads by
twisting to the left (see fig.: 3).
Apply a coat of GMS lubricant (included in scope of

delivery) to the sealing lip of the HSI150 S3 system
cover (see fig.: 4).
Twist slightly to insert it into the bayonet of the wall
insert and firmly screw it in clockwise as far as it will
go (use the flexible socket wrench if necessary)
(see fig.: 5).
The drill holes in the wrench thread of the
system cover must correspond to the arrows in
the cable entry (see fig.: 6).

Use the assignment template to determine the dia-

meter of the cables and select the appropriate segments
based on this information (see table 1 under point
4 "Description HSI150 -SEGMENTO") (see fig.: 7).
Then clean the cables with cable cleaner.

Do not install the sealing segment yet!
Remove the blind plug from the coloured sealing
segment (see fig.: 8).
Apply a thorough coating of GMS „SEGMENTO"
lubricant to the opening(s) of the sealing segment and
cables (see fig.: 9).
Route the cable through the corresponding opening

in the HSI150 S3 system cover (see fig.: 10).
Then, slide the sealing segment over the required
length of routed cable and allow it to click into place
in the opening of the HSI150 S3 system cover on the
outside of the building (see fig.: 10).
Use the Hauff DSD torque screwdriver to tighten the
allen screws until the torque control triggers an acoustic
and mechanical signal (tightening torque 1,2 Nm).
Install other sealing segments according to work stages

4 - 6 and push black screw-on cover caps onto the
allen screws (see fig.: 11).
Leave the blind plug in the sealing element if it is not
being used (see fig.: 11).
If cables are to be installed at a later date,
remove the corresponding sealing segment and
carry out the installation as described in work
stages 4 - 6.
6 Assembly: SEGMENTO Kombikit KKS
With all other wall elements except for
concrete or masonry, suitable pressure-tight
fixing elements must be selected and tested
independently. When making a selection, it is
important to ensure that no infiltration occurs
on the system as a result of the fixing elements
used on-site.
