obstruct the local blood circulation and the device will not be able to detect
the heart rate.
3. The maximum reading time is 15 seconds.
4. Avoid swimming or intense physical exercise at least half an hour before
measuring heart rate.
5. Do not measure heart rate if your hand is shaking.
6. You must put your fi nger on the heart rate button (5) without moving it.
7. Whilst measuring, do not talk or move.
8. If the measurement is incorrect, you may take it again. However, you must
wait 5 to 15 minutes before taking the next measurement.
9. Make sure you use the same fi nger if you decide to repeat the heart rate
measurement so that you can compare the results.
10. The results obtained after measuring heart rate must only be regarded
as a reference. They cannot be used as the basis for carrying out clinical
diagnoses or evaluations. It is dangerous to draw conclusions or start
treatments based on these results. Please consult your doctor and follow his
indications if you don't feel well.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

5.1. PREPARATIONS
1. Replace any low-voltage battery to ensure full power supply.
2. For a correct reading, the thermometer must be in the same environment
30 minutes before the reading takes place.
3. Unforeseen fl uctuations in ambient temperature are likely to aff ect the
accuracy of the measurement. When the temperature of the measurement
site is diff erent from that of the area where the thermometer was located,
or when attempting to take the temperature, brake an air conditioner, it is
impossible to obtain reliable results.
4. The reading must be taken in a clean ear to assure maximum accuracy.
