Battery vs. Hardwire
There are two ways to power the ProV1 video doorbell: Battery or
Hardwire. Before installation, you must decide wether to power the
ProV1 exclusively with the battery or if you want to connect it to ProV1 exclusively with the battery or if you want to connect it to
your bell transformer. The ProV1 comes with two different your bell transformer. The ProV1 comes with two different
batteries. One for the battery power supply and one for the batteries. One for the battery power supply and one for the

Warning: Do NOT use the big battery for Hardwire power supply.
You can use a SD-Card for the automatic video recording feature.

The Micro SD-Card slot is located inside the
battery compartment. First remove the battery
compartment cover. Then insert the Micro
SD-Card (Max. 128GB) into the shown slot. The
Micro SD-Card is displayed in the device
settings after successful installation.
Note:
If the Micro SD-Card is not initially
recognized, the Micro SD-Card may have to first be
formatted on a computer (Format: exFat or FAT32).
