follows to insert a battery:
• Remove the battery compartment (4) on the bottom of the thermometer (observe the arrow markings).
• Insert a 3 V CR2025 button cell (included) with correct polarity into the battery compartment (observe
plus/+ and minus/-).
• Slide the battery compartment with the newly inserted battery back into the thermometer in the correct
position. Ensure that it clicks into place properly.
When changing/inserting the battery, also refer to the diagram on the back of the product.
Mounting the product
• Pull the stand (3) outwards. Place the product on a horizontal, stable and sufficiently large surface using
the stand. Use suitable padding to protect the surfaces of valuable furniture against scratches.
• Push the stand (3) upwards to use it as a hanger. Hang the product in a suitable location in your fridge, or
secure it to a ferromagnetic surface using the magnet.

• After inserting the battery, all display symbols will appear briefly on the LCD display.
• The current temperature will be displayed.
• To select the temperature unit, press the °C / °F button (1). The unit changes.
• Press the button again to go back to the initial setting. You can choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit
for the temperature display.
• HH.H is displayed if the measured temperature exceeds +60 °C.
• LL.L is displayed if the measured temperature drops below -20 °C.

• Press the MAX MIN button (2) to display the maximum and minimum temperature values. Press once to
display the maximum recorded temperature or twice to display the minimum recorded temperature. Press
three times to go back to the current temperature.
• The MIN and MAX symbols are displayed together with the values.
