Intended use
This product is designed to play audio from a Bluetooth device. You can also use the headset
to answer calls from a connected audio device (mobile device). A maximum of two Bluetooth-
capable mobile devices may be connected to the headset. This product is operated by means
of a lithium polymer rechargeable battery. The battery can be recharged with the charging case,
which also has an in-built battery.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the operating instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.

a) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dan-
gerous toy for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you have any questions which are not answered in these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.

Operation

a) Charging the internal battery
• Charge the battery fully before using the product for the first time.
• Recharge the internal battery if the charge state of the battery is too low.
• The headset emits an audible warning of a low battery state for 10 minutes before depletion.
• Connect the micro-USB connector to the USB charging port (8) on the headset.
• Connect the USB-A connector on the micro-USB cable to a USB power source (e.g. USB

b) Charging the internal battery in the charging case
The charging case has an internal rechargeable battery for charging a connected headset.
Please proceed as follows to charge the internal battery:
• Connect the micro-USB connector to the USB port on the side of the charging case.
• Connect the USB-A connector on the micro-USB cable to a USB power source (e.g. USB

• Never pour liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next
to the device. Discontinue use and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation that forms may destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it into use.

• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may
damage your hearing.
d) Rechargeable batteries
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be re-
placed.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of rechargeable
batteries may cause an explosion or a fire! Unlike conventional batteries/rechar-
geable batteries (e.g. AA or AAA batteries), the casing of the Li-Po rechargeable
battery is not made of a thin metal sheet, but only of a sensitive plastic film.
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the bat-
tery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you are not using the product.
• Due to the rechargeable battery technology being used, you do not need to di-
scharge the rechargeable battery first.
• Never leave the rechargeable battery unattended when it is charging.
• Place the product on a heat-resistant surface before charging the rechargeable
battery. It is normal for a certain amount of heat to be generated during charging.
