6.6 No or incomplete peeling of the pipe
Possible cause
The blade is not correctly
mounted on the blade holder.
Incorrect blade dimension was
mounted on the blade holder.
The blade holder has not been
fixed properly on the stripping
and peeling tool (grub screw not
tightened).
The spindle taper is not or not
sufficiently tightened.
Inner pipe diameter is not circular.
The blade is blunt or bent.
There is too much bearing play on
the spindle nut (wear and tear on
the spindle or spindle nut).
6.6 Incorrect cutting of insertion depth
Possible cause
The spindle taper was not mounted
up to the stop.
The pipe was cut at an angle.
Therefore, it is not possible to
correctly assemble the spindle taper.
Solution
Check the blade on the blade holder, and fix it
in predetermined lead with two screws. The
blade must not tilt and must rest evenly on the
knife holder in the lead.
Check blade dimension with blade holder
dimension. Change the blade on the blade
holder (select right dimension and assemble).
Check grub screw and tighten with an allen key.
Tighten the spindle taper.
Cut pipe, check the pipe again, and perform
peeling process again.
Change the blade on the blade holder (select
the right dimension and assemble).
Contact GF service centre and send tool to the
GF service center.
Solution
Ensure that the spindle taper was mounted
up to the stop.
Make sure that the pipe is cut square.
