The joint components form a complete unit, which, when connected to the
appropriate power source and air supply generate an electric arc between the
tip of a carbon electrode and the work piece. The metal becomes molten and
a high velocity air jet streams down the electrode to blow it away, thus leaving
a clean groove. The operating, maintenance and servicing conditions must be
observed. The operator must also ensure that when combined with welding
devices, the product complies with the EC EMC Directive (04/108/EC) and
that the signal conversion of the integrated welding current monitoring system
for the prevention of stray currents is properly installed.
Any other use is considered improper. Unauthorised modifications are not
permitted. The warranty does not cover wear parts and damage caused by
overloading or improper use.
