Emptying the water tank
If you do not intend to use the appliance for a prolonged time (e.g. when taking a holiday), let it cool and empty the
remaining water from the tank (2) as follows:
1. Remove the appliance from the base (12).
2. Press the button (3) to open the water tank lid (1).
3. Tilt the appliance to one side and empty the remaining water from the tank (2).
4. Turn the appliance upside down and shake it in order to get the water out the heat chamber located in the bottom of
the appliance.
5. Repeat step 4 until the appliance is completely empty.
When you resume using the appliance, fill the water tank (2) with water, heat 2 batches and empty them. After this, the
appliance is ready for regular use.
SERVICING
Any extensive maintenance or repair that requires access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an expert
service centre.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

• Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
• The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
• Polyethylene bags shall be handed over for recycling.
