Please read the whole instruction manual carefully before you use the appliance for the first time; after reading, store
and keep the instruction manual in a safe and handy place. Make sure that all other people using the appliance are
familiar with the instruction manual.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

• Do not use this appliance in a way that is different from the instructions in this manual.
• Remove all packing and marketing material from the appliance before you use it for the first time.
• Make sure the connecting voltage corresponds to the values on the appliance type label. Use earthed wall outlets only.
• The appliance's power input is very high; we recommend protecting the mains circuit with at least a 16 A circuit breaker;
do not turn on other appliances with a high power input to prevent overloading the mains circuit.
• The appliance reaches high temperatures during operation and remains hot for some time after being turned off.
Therefore, do not touch the hot surfaces. Use only the handle and buttons, as there is a risk of getting burned.
• Do not clean, store or cover the appliance with items until it is completely cold.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when turned on or plugged into the electrical socket.
• Never carry the appliance during operation or while hot. Do not carry the appliance by the power cord.
• Prior to plugging in or unplugging the appliance from the wall outlet, make sure the switch is off.
• Never hold the supply cable when disconnecting the appliance from the electric voltage outlet by pulling; hold the plug
instead.
• Do not allow children or irresponsible people to handle the appliance. Use the appliance out of the reach of these
persons.
• Persons with limited movement capacity, reduced sensory perception, insufficient mental capacity or those who are
unaware of the proper handling should only use the appliance when under the supervision of a responsible person
familiar with the appliance use.
• Pay the utmost attention when using the appliance near children.
• Do not allow the appliance to be used as a toy.
• Do not use any other accessories except those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Prior to cleaning and after using the appliance, turn it off, disconnect it from the electric voltage outlet, and let
it cool down.
• Do not let the power cord hang loosely over the edge of a table. Make sure the power cord does not touch hot surfaces.
• Only place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant base away from other heat sources, such as radiators, ovens, and
others. Protect the appliance against direct sunlight and moisture.
• Prior to connecting the appliance to the mains, there must be water in it.
• Do not replenish water when the appliance is on its base!
• After the appliance is filled with water, make sure the bottom is dry. Wipe any contingent droplets off the bottom prior
to putting the appliance on its base!
• The appliance is designed for heating water according to the recommended maximum. Never fill the water tank
above the MAX level.
