• When water is being heated and immediately after the heating has ended, do not touch the water discharge opening (9)
as hot steam may come from it - DANGER OF SCALDING!
• Prior to switching the appliance on, make sure the lid is closed properly. To avoid scalding, do not open the lid during
heating.
• We don't recommend using the appliance for heating liquids other than water.
• Do not switch the appliance on without water. If the appliance is, nevertheless, turned on empty, the safety fuse will
deactivate it automatically. After that, let the appliance cool, then fill it with cold water and you may use it again.
• Extra care should be taken when opening the lid to refill the hot appliance with water.
• Take precautions to avoid scalding with hot water while handling the appliance. Always hold the appliance by the
handle, as the body may be hot and burn you.
• Do not use abrasive or chemically aggressive substances to clean the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if it does not operate properly, or if it has been dropped, damaged, or immersed into any liquid.
Take the appliance to an authorised service centre for testing and repair.
• Never use the appliance if the supply cable or plug has been damaged; have the defect repaired immediately by an
authorised service centre.
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
• The appliance is intended for household use only (not for commercial use).
• Do not immerse the supply cable, the plug, or the appliance itself into water or any other liquid.
• Do not repair the appliance yourself. Contact an authorised service centre instead.
Failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions may lead to refusal of warranty repair.
