Use and care of your earmuffs
Read these instructions carefully and keep all information in a safe place.
All earmuffs covered by these instructions have a headband or a
thermoplastic hard hat mounting and foam-filled cushions.
Before each use, check the condition of the product (e.g. optical condition
of product). Discard the product immediately if it is damaged or has been
modified.
Use
To ensure you obtain the maximum comfort and protection from these
earmuffs
– Use, maintain and adjust the earmuffs according to the following
recommendations .
– Check the earmuffs at regular intervals for worn parts or cracks.
– Certain chemical substances can have a destructive effect on this
product.
Use (headband)
Adjust the earmuffs to the largest size and put them on your head. Ensure
that your ears are fully enclosed by the cushions and you feel a uniform
pressure around your ears. Adjust the cushions so that the headband
rests lightly on your head.
Use (hard hat mounting)
These earmuffs should only be fitted to and used with the following
industrial safety helmet: FUNCTION Basic.
– Push the helmet mount into the helmet's slot attachment until it snaps
into place.
– Adjust the earmuffs to the largest size and put them on your head.
Ensure that your ears are fully enclosed by the cushions and you feel
a uniform pressure around your ears. Adjust the cushions so that the
hard hat fits comfortable on your head.
Warning
The protection afforded by the earmuffs may be severely impaired if the
above recommendations are not followed.
The hearing protector must always be used in noisy environments to
provide full protection!
Modifications to the product may have a negative influence on its
protective function. For this reason do not attempt to modify the product
in any way. Immediately discard products that have been modified.
