Switch off with
magnetic Lock
2. Next, turn the speed button to select the
required speed.
3. Use the thumb control lever to drive again.
Switching off
1. Turn the speed button (T) to the left to the
start position.
2. Use the magnetic key (Q) to switch off the
Vivo.
The on/off indicator light and the battery's
LED bar will turn off. The mobility scooter will
now have been switched off.
Attention:
After 50 minutes of being in the standby mode,
the mobility scooter will automatically switch off.
You now need the magnetic key to again switch
on the Vivo.
Attention:
ƒ Adjust your speed using the thumb control
lever. The speed setting determines how fast
you can go if you push the thumb control
lever all the way.
ƒ Check that the road behind you is clear
when reversing.
The mobility scooter reverses more slowly
ƒ
than when it drives forward.
Warning:
ƒ Adjust your speed before steering into a
bend. The mobility scooter may topple if
you drive into a bend at top speed.
ƒ Despite the small turning circle of the
mobility scooter, it may still be difficult to
turn into lifts or doorways. Make sure that
you always use the correct speed setting for
manoeuvring.

Batteries
Warning:
ƒ Always have your dealer
maintenance to the batteries. Never open
the battery box yourself.
ƒ Never connect a cable to the AC/DC
converter or the battery charger. Contact
with components may cause electric shock.
Only use the charging plug and the supplied
ƒ
battery charger of Life & Mobility.
Be careful:
ƒ New batteries must be run in. The full
capacity of batteries is only reached after
they have been used and charged a couple
of times. Take this into account during your
first few trips.
By preference, charge the batteries on a
ƒ
daily basis; this will extend the service life. In
any case, at least charge the batteries once
a month.
ƒ Always charge the batteries to full capacity.
ƒ Avoid draining the batteries completely. The
mobility scooter will lose power which will
have a negative effect on the service life of
the battery.
ƒ Charge fully drained batteries as soon as
possible using a 24­hour cycle.
Attention:
ƒ At lower temperatures the capacity of the
batteries is reduced. This also reduces the
operating range.
ƒ Always connect the charger when putting
the mobility scooter away for the night.
ƒ You cannot overcharge the
supplied. Thanks to a voltage limiter, the
charger automatically switches off when the
batteries are full.
