<NOTE>
If 5 short beeps are heard when arming/disarming, it means that the Tamper switch was not completely pressed. Make
sure that the Tamper switch is set correctly and then repeat the control unit check.

Replacing the batteries

Step 1:
Deactivate the tamper function on the control unit. If the siren is installed on MP500/xx, access "Maintenance"
mode (see the instruction manual of the control unit for details). The siren will generate an acoustic signal to
indicate that the Tamper switch is off.
Step 2:
Remove the cover fixing screw on the bottom and carefully extract the external container.
Step 3:
Remove the LED cover by loosening the two screws which fix it.
Step 4:
Move the power switch to the OFF position.
Step 5:
The battery housing is a large size compartment with a cover fixed by means of four screws. Remove the four
screws and remove the cover from the housing.
Step 6:
Remove the flat batteries and press the Tamper switch twice to discharge the device.
Step 7:
Insert new batteries in the battery housing.
Step 8:
After having inserted all the batteries, move the power switch to terminal BT4. All the LEDs will blink once and the
buzzer will beep once.
Step 9:
Reposition the LED cover and fix it with two screws.
Step 10:
Reposition the battery housing cover and fix it with four screws. Be careful not to tighten the screws excessively.
Step 11:
Reposition the upper cover by coupling it to the top of the base. Press the bottom of the upper cover onto the base
and tighten the screw of the bottom.
Step 12: Reactivate the tamper function on the control unit. If the siren is installed on MP500/xx, exit "Maintenance" mode
(see the instruction manual of the control unit for details).
Step 13: After replacing the batteries, the low battery indication disappears from the portal and app after the first Supervision
or in case of opening of the tamper switch after reactivating it. If Supervision is disabled or the tamper switch is not
opened after the expected time of one hour, the low battery indication will not disappear from the portal and app.
For this reason, Supervision must be enabled on the control unit.
